I am going to try and start sharing a tip, technique or just something cool that I came across during the week that is scrapbook or craft related. Let me know what you think about my weekly finds. I have been taking a class with Katie the Scrapbook Lady and she shared this Color Palette Generator. You just upload a photo or your page in progress, click on create and it will generate a color palette for you. It's free to use and I thought it might be fun to try. And if you ever have trouble picking out colors for your papers or embellishments, this would be a great way to help.

The challenge this week will be to use the Color Palette Generator to help create a layout.

Happy Mother's Day. I am writing this post on Saturday night and setting it to post on Sunday morning. I am off to church in the morning and then Bill and I are spending Sunday night in a hotel, just the two of us. I can't wait for some "me" time. It's time once again for Sunday Scrappin'! It has been very slow around here at Sunday Scrappin'. What is everyone doing instead of crafting? I am late today because I had to take my daughter to the ER. She has strep and is now on antibiotics and rest. We stopped and got her some soup, jello and pudding so she should be in good shape. For those of us in the U.S. we are celebrating Labor Day this weekend and that means a long weekend for most. And since it is Sunday it is time for Sunday Scrappin'. It's the last Sunday in July and I am hoping that means that cooler weather is on it's way. The heat and humidity of Southwest Florida tends to take it's toll but I am sure we have at least six to eight more weeks of heat.

It's the Fourth of July in the US and I am sure there will be lots of BBQ's and fireworks throughout the day. Do you have big plans? It's also time for Sunday Scrappin'! My mind has been racing this week with crafty ideas. Unfortunately, only my mind was working, not my hands. I am so wanting to craft and just haven't made the time. What did you get done crafty this week?

This has been a tragic week in my life and I have once again been reminded how important family and friends are. I have also been reminded that we, as the family historian, have a duty to preserve our families photos and memories. This week's Sunday Scrappin' post is going to be short as I am spending time with my Mom and Dad in Haines City this weekend. My Mom is going to have to have a biopsy done on a lump in her breast and I am going to take her to the surgeon on Monday.

It's Thanksgiving week and I am looking forward to family and good food! I know it's a busy week but let's see some "thankful" layouts or cards.

Greetings! Were you able to find time for crafts this week? Did you come up with anything for Christine's Halloween colors challenge?

Here's my challenge for next week: use what you see outside right now. I heard on the news last night that the fall leaf colors are peaking in my area, which means that soon we'll be looking at bare trees and shades of brown. Try to do a project using fall colors, or maybe using actual fall leaves.

It's Sunday again! I can't believe two weeks have gone by and I haven't done anything crafty. I did get moved and am living in my new place so am happy about that. I will be even happier if I get some crafting done this week.

How did it go with Amy's challenge last week. We could sure use some cooler weather here in Southwest Florida. We have had record breaking heat this week.

Since it is getting close to Halloween let's do Halloween colors for next week's challenge - orange, black or possibly purple. Looking forward to seeing what you create!

It's the last Sunday in September and time once again for Sunday Scrappin'. How did last week's frame it challenge go? I have been so busy packing and getting ready for my move next weekend I didn't do a thing crafty this week.

It's time for Sunday Scrappin' once again. Last week's challenge was to mass produce cards or scrapbook pages. What a great time saver!

It's been rainy and dreary here in Florida the past two days so let's brighten things up with the challenge this week. Let's create something sunny! Either scrapbook pictures of a beach vacation or include some bright, sunny colors in your cards or layouts.

Greetings! What did you come up with for Christine's challenge last week?

Today I am mass producing paper crafts, so I'll definitely have photos to show next week! For myself, I'm working on a kids' alphabet book swap, and then finishing up my bookmark swap. For work, I'm creating large sunflowers that the residents (nursing home) will paint and then they'll adhere sunflower seeds to for a bulletin board display. I expect that my craft table will be a total mess by the end of the afternoon- LOL!

For next week's challenge, let's see what you can do with a "mass produced" theme. Two pages with the same layout? Two cards with the same colors? I've done this before.... stuck to a theme or layout... and it's amazing how much faster my crafting goes. Give it a try! :)

Happy Sunday! Did you come up with a creative project for Christine's birthday challenge from last week?

This week's challenge: I'd like to see what kind of bookmark you can come up with. I just signed up for a swap for bookmarks at SCS, and I was amazed at all the different examples I found in the gallery there. Traditional rectangle ones, paperclip bookmarks, tags... there were tons of ideas. I know you ladies can come up with some unique ideas, too- and this might be a great way to use up some scraps.
