Our participation has really dropped off over the last month- anyone know what's going on? We used to have a dozen or so participants every week. So, I've decided to have a little contest: the person who brings the most new participants here will have their blog featured in a special place here in two weeks. Just have them leave a comment about who invited them here. Go on... go visit your crafty friends' blogs and spread the word!

How did you do with last week's challenge to use the bright new colors of this blog? I didn't get to that one myself- my craft time recently has been pretty evenly split between yellow baby shower invitations and pink sparkly princess birthday party stuff. :)

Next week's challenge: use just one layer. A card or scrapbook page without layers... just photos and embellishments as seperate pieces. If you're like me and used to layering all your photos at least once, this can be quite a challenge!

Sunday Scrappin' 3/22

Welcome! Those of you who are regulars around here, don't worry, you're in the right spot! ;) I changed to a new template yesterday for Spring. And... I finally figured out how to get rid of the weird empty space that kept appearing in posts on the old template. At first it did that with this template too, so I changed to "classic Blogger", and POOF, the alignment issue disappeared. Now, if anyone knows how to get the title to move down a bit, please let me know!

How'd you do with last week's challenge to use a quote as an element on your page? I can't wait to see what you guys came up with!

Next week's challenge: I want you to use the colors of my new blog template. It's kind of a bright, bold combination... so let's have fun with it!

How did you do with the challenge for this past week? Do you have a pastel creation to show us today? (I'll have some finished pastel baby shower invitations to show you soon-- right now, other than this SS post, I'm on a blogging vacation! ;) )

The challenge for next Sunday: use a quote as a main element on your page or project. There are some great scrapbooking quotes HERE, or, you can use any quote you like. Make it the title, make it an accent, use it in your journaling... it's up to you! Remember, today's challenge isn't due until next week.
